Level 3 of the Lighthouse product adds automated payment auditing to the tool suite. Our proprietary and patent-pending auditing module is extremely extensible and robust and can be configured for just about every insurance contract that can be created.
Because of the powerful nature of the auditing module, it does require some configuration, and our technical support team is here to answer any questions.
Once the auditing module is configured, the audit will review every line item of every claim that is submitted to any payer. Failures can be triggered by underpayments or overpayments (which is especially helpful for compliance auditing). Exceptions are flagged and are entered into a workflow management page similar to the Aging Worksheet from Level 1.
Every payment exception can then be managed and productivity can be measured for collectors.
